The Women's Ministry at South Pointe is designed for uncommon women of uncommon ages from uncommon walks of life. God has made each of us unique, blessed with gifts and talents to share with others. The common thread we share is our love for the Lord and our desire to share what we have found with others. Through Bible Study we have found that God is alive and not just words on a page. God's promises are real and something you can depend on in an undependable |

world. As we meet each week we learn from each other, learn how we can apply God’s word to our lives, and provide friendship and encouragement to those in need.
Although our circumstances may be different our journey is the same. Walking by faith has become a way of life for the women of South Pointe as we realize that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Through our Christian walk and the power of prayer we are making a difference in our homes, in our families, in our church, and in our community. We want to lead by example and leave a legacy and a Godly heritage for those who will follow behind us. God never promised us life would be easy but as we grow in our relationship with the Lord we can overcome the world and lead a spirit-filled joyful life full of peace and love. Sound too good to be true? It isn't. It's our uncommon way of life at South Pointe Church. We would love for you to join us and experience it for yourself.

Events
Our current Bible study is, "Women Making A Difference in Marriage: Building Love, Joy and Commitment", by Lana Packer. We meet weekly at various locations around Abilene, in the Activities Building. With God being the Author of love and the Creator of marriage, it's fitting that He would have a plan for our marriages. In this study women will learn that through carefully studying the Bible and adopting a willingness to follow its principles, instructions and examples, they can begin to experience all that God intended for their marriage. Women can begin to build or rekindle their marriage according to His design. This 8-week study, in five daily lessons, offers practical insights for women seeking to be godly wives - even when unbelieving or unchurched husbands, or separation or divorce seems to shatter their dreams.
August 24-25, 2007 join us for the Women of Faith Conference "Amazing Freedom 2007" at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. The cost is $150.00 and includes conference registration, box lunch at the conference, one night stay at the fabulous Adolphus Hotel, and bus fare. Join us in the Fall for Beth Moore's 12-week in-depth Bible study, "Daniel: Lives of Integrity, Words of Prophecy", that examines both the life of the prophet Daniel and the prophetic teachings of the book. Divided into 2 parts, the 1st portion (Daniel 1-6), emphasized by Lives of Integrity, deals with the life of the prophet and is extremely contemporary. Daniel faced pressures and temptations similar to those of a Christian in today's world. He teaches and models for us how to develop enduring integrity in an enticing world. |

The 2nd half (Daniel 7-12), turns to explore the prophecies of Daniel. It deals in-depth with the historical details, predictions, and fulfillments detailing history from the time of Daniel, through the inter-biblical period, the time of Christ, and on to the second coming of Christ.
