Volunteer Opportunities
Here at the Uncommon Church there are several places to get involved and serve. Our ministry opportunities are broken down into 6 major categories. Each of these categories contains broader sub-categories, to better define the various and exciting ministry opportunities within our church. Some of the options that you will see may be filled, but we can always use the extra help, and many others are wide-open, just waiting for you to give them a try.
Realize, the opportunities for personal ministry don't stop at the doors of the church, but rather begin there. Besides the ministries you see, we also have countless opportunities for community service and outreach ministries throughout the year.
If you don't see something that appeals to you or sparks your imagination, or perhaps you have a great idea for a brand new ministry, we would enjoy hearing your thoughts. Please feel free to contact us at 325.691.1118.
If you are unsure about serving in a particular area, or would like to consider other ministry options, and opportunities, that's great...in fact we encourage it. Feel free to take any ministry for a "30 Day Test Drive", and see if it fits with your giftedness. Check out as many opportunities as you like. At SPC, we understand the need to be used, but also the importance of doing something that fits with who you are. Our desire is that every Believer realizes their responsibility is to "serve the Lord with gladness", and not out of obligation. So please take your time, but do take a look...purpose is waiting for you.
