men's Ministry

"Everyone who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.” These words from Matthew 7:24 form the backbone of South Pointe’s Men’s Ministry. Our goal is not to attain mere knowledge of the Word, but, through instruction and application, to lead men to become doers of The Word

Lead Pastor Trace Michaels and Men's Ministry Leader Scott Warren both believe there is a lack of an authentic commitment to following the risen Christ which often stems from a lack of spiritual leadership from godly men. This ministry provides the training needed for the transformation of men into the type of leaders which God has called them, not only in their homes, but also in their church, community and careers.

This is done through a variety of different methods and events:

  • A weekly Men’s Study (this runs from September to May)
  • Core 724 @ The Game Ministry – trips to Rangers, Mavericks and Stars games for fun and friendship
  • Brother’s Keepers – accountability groups available for assistance with struggles
  • Other activities, events and studies

If you are interested in finding out more about Core 724, please feel free to call the church at 325.691.1118 or email Scott.
